BRIEF INTRODUCTION ABOUT TANZANIA EDUCATION CO-OPERATION (T.E.C. Org)


Tanzania society is in transition with challenges of meeting demands of its growing population, particularly that of young people and graduates to put their education into entrepreneurship, business, community, and society development activity, not only for Tanzanian’s benefit of eradicating various forms of youth, graduates’ and community poverty but also for Africa and the global sustainable development.

is founded with emphasis on international collaboration to provide nexus ideas, opportunities, programs, and projects in various areas that can guide young people and graduates to start and engage in social-economic and business activities that contribute to solving Tanzania’s society and economic challenges within the framework of Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals. The organization is there to enable Tanzanians to think globally and act locally by facilitating local and international knowledge exchanges in various sectors


VISION STATEMENT

To envision a society where Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are practically implemented as integrated into the National Development Agenda

MISSION STATEMENT

a) To enhance Sustainable Youth and Adult livelihood through International Education Exchange and Economic Empowerment

b) To enhance Environmental Conservation through Research Support in utilizing plastic/bio-wastes and managing Organic and Circular farming, hence producing healthy food products for a Sustainable Community.


ORGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVES

  1. To enable the utilization of youthful human resources, land, other natural and community-based knowledge and spirit resources to play a catalyst and innovative role in meeting the demands for Sustainable Development.
  2. To provide support to internships and work experience to international students, teachers, doctors, and personnel in different fields.
  3. To provide support for international development education, projects, and programs.
  4. To support research initiatives in Environmental protection, Conservation, Organic Agriculture, and Community Development.
  5. To empower communities by supporting community members, especially young people, to work on projects and programs that support liberating them from extreme poverty.
  6. To promote youth equality in capturing career opportunities.
  7. To carry out or assist in the carrying out of initiatives, projects, research, consultancy work, and field work on the aforementioned fronts that will enable better community building and sustainable development
  8. To promote the economic empowerment of youth for self-reliance
  9. To promote debates on climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies for resilience.

 Over 10 years of experience in R&D; Mixed Methods approach. Project Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation. He has participated in projects within the Health, Environment, Agriculture, and Education sectors geared towards improving National Policies. Holds Dipl. Philosophy-Urbaniana University, Rome, B.A Sociology- UDSM and M.A. Development Studies- ISS- Erasmus University Rotterdam, NL.

Emmanuel Swai
Program Officer

 A key member of our team, responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of programs that align with our organization’s core mission. He ensures that all initiatives meet their objectives, adhere to budgets and timelines, and deliver measurable impact to the communities we serve. He works closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive successful outcomes. B.A I.T in PPM

Nicas Nelson
Organization Lead

A pharmacist with over 12 years of progressive, multi-sector experience, I currently represent my organization as a National Focal Point to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Global Framework on Chemicals. My background includes roles in pharmaceutical manufacturing as an Operational Officer, service as a District Pharmacist in Tanzania, and project management with PMIA and IDPAD Ireland. I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a Master of Science.

 Holding a background in Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Methodologies, Mr. Bruno Michael has over 5 years of experience in Interdisciplinary Research. This provides him with the ability to navigate from research questions to data analysis, offering distinct frameworks for systematic inquiry, including surveys, experiments, and qualitative studies.

Is a vibrant young lawyer. She has a progressive experience of more than five years in the legal sector. She has a background of working within the courts of law and other reputable law firms. She has a demonstrated experience of working in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as well as Intellectual Property.

Is responsible for independently examining an organization’s financial records, operations,  or systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. He provides an objective opinion or assurance to stakeholders, such as investors, management, or the public, which helps maintain confidence in the reported financial information.
